This position manages and reports on the flow of materials through the company’s production supply chain.
Oversees all material movement: from raw material receiving, to issuing goods to production, to accounting for all usage.
This is a “hands on” position responsible for the physical movement, storage and inhouse delivering of materials.

Responsibilities
- Works with production and scheduling management to ensure timely and accurate delivery of specified goods to required work stations in production.
- Checks and verifies all incoming raw materials for quality and specification match to purchase orders.
- Maintain detailed records of all incoming, outgoing and warehouse returns of goods.
- Quarantines incoming raw materials not conforming to specifications.
- Reports to Company Controller daily on material usage variances – both under used and additional goods having to be issued for a production job.
- Maintains a well organized, safely operating warehouse storage area.
- Assures that no raw materials moves into or out of the warehouse without proper documentation and confirmations.
- Conducts routine cycle counts to insure inventory accuracy
Skills & Qualifications
- 3-5 years direct, hands-on experience in materials management
- Forklift Certified
- Ability to take ownership of the materials storage and movement
- Experienced working with inventory control software systems
- Working knowledge of material movement information reporting
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or equivalent software
- Education: Minimal High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Salary negotiated based on experience and skills sets brought to the position
